Conflict of interest policy

A mediator cannot be a close relative of any party.

A mediator cannot have a business relationship with any party.

If for any reason a mediator feels that he is not completely neutral in a case, he must disclose the reason or recluse himself from the case.

Participants may not choose their panel of mediators, however, each participant has the right to request the exclusion of any potential mediator who he feels would not be impartial for any reason.
